Bluebells and Marigolds are rooms for our oldest children, where we start to prepare the children for school.

 

School readiness is a particular focus, not just in the academic sense but in terms of promoting children’s confidence, encouraging them to build relationships and friendships, empowering them to ask for support where needed and helping them to learn to self-regulate their behaviour.

 

Phonics and literacy sessions take place in the mornings and maths sessions in the afternoons. The children learn through practical and tactile activities which embeds the learning. We have a packed lunch day to prepare the children for lining up, getting their packed lunch boxes and finding somewhere to sit!

 

Our children will be ready for school by the time they leave us!
